Black and White photography

Black and white photography, sometimes abbreviated as B/W or in English (black and white), is a adjective phrase used primarily in film and photography to describe various forms of visual technology. Black and white photography is characterized by the absence of colour, due to its chemical nature, which is made up of silver halides. In a first step, the film is exposed to a certain amount of light in a dark or photographic camera, thus obtaining a latent image that still cannot be seen. It is revealed with special liquids, and can be passed through an unemployed bath, thus obtaining the image. Finally, the fixation of the image, so that it is chemically stable and does not react to the light or to other external agents

Photography is the procedure and art that allows to fix and reproduce, through chemical reactions and on surfaces prepared for it, the images that are collected at the bottom of a dark chamber.
The principle of the dark chamber is to project the image that is captured by a small hole on the surface. In this way, the size of the image is reduced and can increase its sharpness
